We’re a small, family-run farm rooted in the beautiful St. John Valley, where hard work, good food, and community mean everything to us.
What began as a dream to live closer to the land has grown into a way of life that nourishes both our family and our neighbors. We chose farming because we believe in real food grown with care. We want our children to understand where their food comes from, to get their hands in the dirt, and to grow up with a deep appreciation for the land and the people around them. There’s something special about planting a tiny seed and watching it grow into food that brings families together around the table.
Thank you for being part of our story.
We’re grateful to grow food for our community and glad you’re here.
Everything we grow stays close to home. Our vegetables are harvested fresh and shared with local families through our farm stand, farmers markets, and CSA. Supporting local farms helps keep our rural communities strong, and we’re thankful for every person who chooses to buy local.

At Freckle Farm, we’re proud to grow fresh, local vegetables and connect our community to good food.
We grow a large variety of vegetables, focusing on quality, sustainability, and seasonality. More than anything, we’re here to build community- whether through a quick chat at the farm stand, a familiar face at the market, or a shared love for a delicious tomato.
WIC/SNAP and Maine Senior Farm Shares are accepted at both on the farm and farmers markets.

Local food connects people to the land and to the farmers who grow it. When you choose to buy from a local farm, you’re doing more than bringing home fresh vegetables. You’re supporting local families, strengthening the local economy, and helping keep farmland active in the St. John Valley.
Food grown close to home is often harvested just hours before it reaches your table, which means better flavor and freshness. It also means fewer miles traveled and a stronger connection between the people who grow food and the families who enjoy it.
At Freckle Farm, we’re proud to grow food for our neighbors. Every time someone chooses local food, they help support farms like ours and keep fresh, locally grown food available for families across the Valley.
Do you have dogs at the farm?
